Saturate Troup County | The Nehemiah Project
This is a program by the Churches of Troup County to get a
"Pocket Cross" in the hands and pockets of all those in the county who recognize the "POWER" of the cross and who desire to carry a cross with them everyday and everywhere. This allows each person who accepts a cross to follow Jesus instructions to "Take up your cross everyday and follow me." Luke 9:23
These crosses are created by volunteers and are freely given by "Cross Bearers", who have invested in them so others might experience the LOVE and Blessings of God Almighty as they have in their lives. We will give away 52,000 crosses in 52 days beginning January 29 and ending on March 28, 2024, the day before Good Friday.
If you wish to be a part of this spiritual movement, you can get involved right here by investing in a box of 52 crosses to give away yourself, or to sponsor others in gifting. A box of 52 crosses is $156.00, or $3.00 each, a small investment for what can be released through these crosses.
There will be 1000 "Cross Bearers" gifting these crosses through and into churches, to school age, from the first grade and older, including college age students, and to the oldest citizens in our communities. All sectors of our community will be reached, with the primary focus on churches and schools, the healthcare industry, including hospitals and senior living facilities, and business and industries.
We will be creating and packaging the crosses with 86 volunters, beginning on January 11, 2024, with 50 persons packaging and 36 persons producing the crosses. The packaging volunteers will acomplish their work in 2 hours a day for 12 days, and the cross producers will accomplish their work working 4 hours per day in 12 days.
This calls for a miraculous display of the LOVE and POWER of God, just as it did with Nehemiah rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem in 52 days. God has used Nehemiah's experience to inspire the Saturation of Troup County with "Pocket Crosses" all to the Glory of God. Is there a place for you to serve?
