This I believe, when you commit to the discipline of picking up your cross daily and repeating, ”Thank you Jesus”, you will begin to sense the presence of God in these moments most especially.

Do not do it as an after thought, but very intentionally as if you are expressing this to Jesus Himself, because you are. I suggest you do it soon after arising in the morning, and making it a priority as you prepare for bed at night.

The picture to the right, the arrow shaped clouds, is one of those moments. A cloud had just gone before me for approximately twenty miles without changing shape. When I first saw the cloud, I thought immediately that it was meant to be a message for someone, because it was so distinct and basically the only cloud in the sky. When I reached my destination, I got out of my truck, opened a gate and turned to get back in my truck. In an instant the cloud changed shape to what you see here. In truth, it still remains a mystery, but it did lead me to make a wooden cross necklace, and committing to wearing it forever. That, I discerned, was God’s message to me.
